Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) offer the most pleasant weather with warm days and comfortable nights ideal for desert camping. Summer months can be very hot in the desert interior, while winter brings cooler temperatures but also fewer crowds and crystal-clear night skies perfect for stargazing. The Rose Valley is spectacular in April-May when the roses are in full bloom.
