Chefchaouen is beautiful year-round, but the best time to visit is during spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) when the weather is mild and pleasant for walking the medina streets. Summer is warm but comfortable due to Chefchaouen's mountain elevation. Winter can be cool with occasional rain, which actually enhances the blue medina's atmospheric charm. The town is less crowded outside of peak summer months.
